Article 1. Applicability

These General Terms of Sale (hereafter: Terms) apply exclusively to all offers, orders, and agreements of Meeples, excluding any other general conditions. Acceptance of an offer or placement of an order implies your acceptance of these Terms. Deviations from these Terms can only be made in writing, in which case all other provisions remain fully valid. All rights and claims stipulated in these Terms and in additional agreements benefiting Meeples are equally applicable to intermediaries and other third parties engaged by Meeples.

Article 2. Offers/Agreements

All offers made by Meeples are non-binding, and Meeples explicitly reserves the right to alter prices, especially if required by (legal) regulations. See also Article 3.6. An agreement only becomes valid after Meeples accepts your order. Meeples reserves the right to refuse orders or to impose specific conditions on delivery unless explicitly stated otherwise. Meeples will communicate non-acceptance within ten (10) working days after receipt of the order.

Article 3. Prices and Payments

Listed prices for products and services are provisional, in EUR, and exclude 21% VAT unless otherwise specified or agreed upon in writing. Actual shipping costs will be shown during checkout. Payments can be made via methods indicated at checkout. Meeples secures your data using Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to protect your information. All payment and address details are encrypted and stored securely. If misuse of your payment details occurs, please first contact your bank or payment service provider and inform Meeples as soon as possible at info@meeples.nl. If you default on payment, Meeples is entitled to suspend or terminate the respective agreement and related agreements. If prices increase between ordering and execution, you have the right to cancel the order or terminate the agreement within ten (10) days after notification of the price increase.

Article 4. Delivery and Pickup

Delivery times provided by Meeples are indicative. Exceeding delivery times does not entitle you to damages or to cancel or terminate the agreement unless the delay makes continuation unreasonable. Deliveries occur on weekdays at the location and time when products are ready for shipment. Orders placed before 20:00 on weekdays are shipped within two working days. The option to pick up at Bedrijfsweg 14, Dronten, is always available without shipping costs. Pickup location and times can be agreed upon via contact at info@meeples.nl.

Article 5. Retention of Ownership

Ownership of products transfers to you only after full payment of amounts due under any agreement with Meeples. Risk transfers to you upon delivery.

Article 6. Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights

You must respect all intellectual and industrial property rights on products delivered by Meeples. Meeples does not guarantee products are free from infringement on third-party intellectual or industrial rights.

Article 7. Complaints, Returns Policy, and Liability

You must verify upon delivery that products comply with the agreement. Non-compliance should be reported to Meeples within fourteen (14) days post-delivery, supported by clear, written reasoning. Meeples may replace or refund non-compliant products upon return. As a business customer, the “distance selling” regulations do not apply, meaning returns are generally not accepted unless otherwise agreed. For dropshipping, you manage the returns process. Complaints can be submitted via the webshop complaint form, or disputes can be mediated through Stichting WebwinkelKeur or the European Commission's ODR platform.

Article 8. Orders/Communication

Meeples is not liable for misunderstandings, distortions, delays, or improper transmission of orders or messages resulting from internet use or any communication means between you and Meeples or third parties, unless caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence by Meeples.

Article 9. Force Majeure

Meeples reserves the right to suspend or terminate the execution of your order due to force majeure without court intervention or liability for damages, provided it is not unreasonable in given circumstances. Force majeure includes any non-attributable failure to Meeples.

Article 10. Miscellaneous

Meeples will send orders to the address provided unless otherwise instructed in writing. Occasional deviations from these Terms by Meeples do not waive the right to strict compliance later. Any invalid provision will be replaced by a legally permissible provision decided by Meeples. Meeples may utilize third parties to fulfill orders.

Article 11. Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction

Dutch law exclusively governs all rights, obligations, offers, orders, and agreements under these Terms. All disputes will be presented exclusively to the competent court in the Netherlands.
